1. Custom Services & Upfront Deposits
ScaleDocks provides custom digital engineering, software architecture, and web development services. Due to the bespoke nature of our work, upfront project deposits or discovery fees are strictly non-refundable once project kickoff and initial design/architecture work has commenced.
2. Milestone Payments & Cancellations
Projects structured with milestone payments require written sign-off before advancing to subsequent phases. Once a milestone is delivered and approved, the associated payment is final and non-refundable. Clients may request to cancel mid-project; however, fees for hours worked or milestones completed prior to written cancellation notice remain due.
3. Service Quality & Code Guarantees
We stand behind our code quality. If software bugs or functional deviations from the agreed Scope of Work (SOW) occur within 30 days of project deployment, ScaleDocks will resolve them at no additional cost. Bug fixes do not qualify for cash refunds but are fully remediated under project warranty.
